Sorted by upfront cash needed, lowest first. The column that decides it for most Bangladeshi families is the third one — money you must show or hold before you fly.
| Destination | Best for | Upfront money reality | Biggest catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🇮🇳 India | Lowest total cost, closest to home, SAARC scholarships | Tuition from approx. INR 95,000/year; no blocked account | MBBS is excluded from most scholarship schemes |
| 🇲🇾 Malaysia | English-taught degrees, Muslim-majority, UK/AUS dual awards | No government money-in-bank threshold like Europe; EMGS fees only | Part-time work is restricted — budget the full amount |
| 🇮🇹 Italy | Genuinely fully funded routes for low-income families | Income-banded tuition can reach €0, but aid arrives after enrolment | Must self-fund the first semester; credit thresholds renew the grant |
| 🇫🇷 France | Low public tuition, state absorbs €10,000–15,000+ per student/year | CVEC €105 plus proof of means; no large blocked account | French language decides part-time work and post-study jobs |
| 🇩🇪 Germany | No tuition in most states, strongest post-study work route | €10,332 per year financial proof, normally a blocked account | HSC often needs a Studienkolleg year first; BW charges €1,500/semester |
| 🇪🇸 Spain | Fast English-taught admission via private universities | IPREM €600/month × months of stay as visa means proof | Private tuition is high and "scholarships" are only discounts |
| 🇬🇧 UK | One-year master's, English-language employment, Graduate visa | £1,529/month London or £1,171/month outside, held 28 days, + £558 visa + £776/yr IHS | High-scrutiny nationality — credibility interview refuses weak applications |
| 🩺 MBBS abroad | Medicine when local seats are out of reach | Varies wildly by country — verify the college, not the country | BM&DC eligibility certificate and Registration Qualifying Exam decide everything |

How to read any study abroad offer
The same five mistakes cost Bangladeshi students lakhs every intake. Check every offer — including ours — against this list.
-
Ask for the total, not year one
Get tuition × full duration, plus hostel, food, insurance, visa and flights. Agents quote year-one tuition because it is the smallest number in the deal.
-
Demand the university's own fee page
If a figure only exists in an agent's PDF or WhatsApp message, it is not a figure. Every real fee is published by the university or the government.
-
Never pay into a personal account
Pay the university through traceable banking channels and get a receipt in the university's name. Cash to an individual is how money disappears.
-
Check the licence, not the degree
For medicine, nursing, pharmacy, law and engineering, the professional council decides whether you can work. Verify with BM&DC or the relevant council first.
-
Treat "no IELTS" as a question, not a promise
Some universities genuinely waive it. Your visa route may still require an approved test. Get the waiver in writing from the university before you plan around it.
-
Assume every number expires
Visa thresholds, tuition and scholarship amounts change each intake. Re-check the official source in the month you apply — including the ones on this site.
